| At the beginning of the program year, as part of a Vestry initiative, we will be kicking off the Hickory Neck EpiscoPals program! This is an intergenerational “pen pal” program. Throughout the year, you will communicate with your pal. There will also be four scheduled times for in-person meetings with your pal: the Community Picnic, Advent Wreath making, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner, and Flip Flop Mass. Outside of those scheduled times, you and your pal can make a plan for communicating and meeting that works best for both of you. Pal assignments will be sent via email in advance of the Community Picnic on Sunday, September 8th. Responses are due this Sunday, August 25th.
